What DJ Mode provides

DJ Mode (djfunmode.com) is a web application that stores audio files you upload and plays them back to you on command during your event. We provide the software and the storage. We do not provide the music.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anyone you give a board link to. Keep your password to yourself. Tell us at ifeedbears@gmail.com if you think someone else has access.

The music you upload

When you upload a song you confirm it is yours to use and that you are using it for your own private event. You keep all rights in what you upload. We store it, serve it back to you, and delete it on the schedule described in our storage policy. We do not distribute it, sell it, or use it for anything else.

If you are running a ticketed or public event, check what your venue's music licensing covers. That is between you and the venue.

What you may not do

Don't upload anything unlawful. Don't use the service to distribute music to the public. Don't attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or access another account's data.

Payment

Activating an event is a one-time charge of $49, processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Storage renewals are $19 per 30 days. There is no subscription and no automatic recurring charge.

Refunds

If the service fails on our side and we can't fix it for your event, email ifeedbears@gmail.com and we will refund you. Changing your mind after your event has passed is not a refund case.

Deletion

Uploaded audio is deleted 10 days after your event date unless you renew. We warn you by email first. Deletion is permanent. See the storage policy for the full detail.

Availability

We work hard to keep DJ Mode running, but no web service is guaranteed. The board needs a working internet connection at your venue, which is outside our control. Test it before the day.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to DJ Mode is limited to what you paid us for the event in question.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new date at the top.
